The name “SSV Salt” came to existence in honor of our founder Thiru. S.S.Veerabaghu Pillai who established the company in 1950. Through his endeavours in setting up the salt manufacturing pan his son S.S.V.Renganathan was instrumental in transforming his father's vision into reality. Today SSV Salt is an ISO 9001:2008 certified company which offers Refined Free Flow Salt, Iodized Crystal Salt, Iodized Powder salt, Industrial salt and Gypsum (bi-product).

The company had ventured in partnership for a Salt Refinery Factory in the name PURE SALT REFINERIES in the year 2011 which is located in Pattanamaruthur, ECR road adjacent to our Salt Pan. Pure Salt Refineries has a production capacity of 5 Metric tons / hr. with warehousing capacity of 10000 Sq.ft.
